Our Approach
Flood Mason Holdings, LLC (“FMH”) is a Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based advisory and consulting firm founded by Eugene Flood, Jr., Ph.D. and James Mason. Although FMH was established in 2020, our leadership team has developed the foundational thought and framework for our unique problem solving approach over a number of years. We focus on innovative solutions to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, which FMH deems the Mega-Themes that Matter (“MTMs”): i) Global Healthcare; ii) Sustainability; and iii) Economic Mobility. As the problems associated with the MTMs are massive and complex, sustainable solutions require thoughtful engagement and collaboration across sectors. FMH’s approach actively engages the best resources across the public, private and nonprofit sectors to drive more sustainable solutions and superior value creation.
FMH provides advisory and consulting services within the MTMs, with an emphasis on Economic Mobility. We leverage our innovative strategy and deep cross-sectoral relationships, along with our breadth of experience investing in, managing and operating companies to achieve targeted outcomes and large-scale societal and economic impact.
For the past seven years, our core team has collaborated on a variety of investment opportunities and advisory and consulting projects ranging in scope from supplier diversity in the Fortune 500 to STEM education and financial literacy for teenagers. In addition to our core team, we have access to leading experts across a multitude of disciplines and can engage these individuals and organizations on a project-by-project basis as needed. The benefit of FMH’s working relationship with these individuals and organizations is that we can attract elite talent, which makes their involvement an extraordinary value for our clients.
